U2 is one of my all time favorite bands. I first remember falling in love with them at the age of 15 when my then boyfriend listened to them non stop in remembrance of his dearly departed mom. When you just sit and listen to them sing to the lyrics to the way the music moves over you, you feel them. Or at least I did. So as I was looking for the lyrics to 'One' I discovered a Mary J. Blige version that I was determined to hate when I first saw it. Then I listened to it. I'm a convert. The song transcends Mary's vocals and is just as beautiful as before only slightly different.
