God Opens The Womb

As I set out to answer my eternal question on how God sees conception today I was reminded how Vague he can be. My husband gets on to me about being Vague but really God has got the handle on that one doesn't he? Genesis alone, the first Book of the Bible, we see example after example of how God states a man goes to his wife and she conceived. Here God hints at how he is the one in control of the womb. But is he? Doesn't he also give us free will? And in Genesis 29:31 when he states he opens Leah's womb, he doesn't give a time line, only hints that now she should be able to conceive. Even with the birth of each of her son's, God doesn't hint at how long it took to conceive or how many times Jacob came unto Leah, just that Leah bore sons. The important thing to remember is that God leaves a lot up to us. He gave us freewill but ultimately he's in control of the gift of life. What we do with it once we've got it is ours to live.
